First Aid kit is important...
👋Apart from all the other items that we are carrying with ourselves, it is very important to have the right first aid kit. In this case, medicines and items that are suitable for high altitudes that we will be reaching. After doing a wee bit of reading, I managed to come up with the following list:
👉Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve): Ibuprofen works by decreasing swelling and inflammation caused by high altitudes. Recommended dosage is 600 mg every 8 hours
👉Acetazolamide (Diamox): Helps you breathe at a faster rate, increasing the oxygen levels in your body. Recommended dosage is 125 - 250 mg every 12 hours.
👉Dexamethasone (Decadron): Anti-inflammatory to treat edema. Recommended dosage 4 mg every 6 hours.
👉 ORS: Oral Rehydration Solution (I'm sure this does not need explaining 👀)
👉Metoclopramide: anti-sickness medicine. Prevents one feeling sick.
👉Anti-septic cream
👉Band Aids
👉Eye drops
👉Ear buds
👉Volini
👉Hydrogen peroxide
👉Gauze
