Permits: Strictly straightforward process.

 Applying for the permits is not as tough as it sounds. So what can we expect during the application permit process?

1. The website to go to is: Apply for Ladakh permit here

2. Carry at least 2 national documents with yourself e.g., Passport and Aadhar card. Self attested photo copies of these same documents need to be carried along with. 

3. Fill in details: The application will require some basic document info after which the application can be submitted. 

4. Dates of arrival and departure in the special region (permits needed to travel around) will need to be established. 

5. The application should cost roughly 520 rupees per person, which will need to be taken into account in the budget.
